We had a good day on the lake. The ice was soft(temp was 4c today) and there was 3-4 inches of wet snow on the ice.
My srx is bone stock and we got 115mph in 1/4 mile. Muskoka sidewinder has a video of some runs including my 115mph. I'll also post all the speeds of the sleds today.
All runs were 1/4 mile on a radar gun for the doubters!
Bone stock;
2019 sidewinder srx 115mph 8750rpm
2019 sidewinder ltx-le 107mph 8500rpm
2018 skidoo blizzard 850 98mph idk rpm's
Boosted;
2019 sidewinder srx 123mph 8800rpm
2019 sidewinder srx 122mph 8800rpm
2019 sidewinder srx 119mph 8400rpm(weight were for 330 kit)
2018 sidewinder rtx 123mph 8900rpm

Everyone had a good time and we're looking forward to good clean ice!

Strong speeds considering the temps and what looks like loose snow conditions!We had a good day on the lake. The ice was soft(temp was 4c today) and there was 3-4 inches of snow on the ice.

Do you find the SRX's transfer better with the new rate rear suspension springs?
Thanks.

Amazing to me that all boost only results in 8mph more. Thanks for sharing.

I was thinking that also. A lot of money to go 8 mph faster. But it would still be awesome.!Amazing to me that all boost only results in 8mph more. Thanks for sharing.

On paper it doesn't look like much, but 8mph in a quarter mile is probably 20 sled lengths. Or more.
Stock gearing i think is still only good for 126ish no matter what the HP.
This is 1/4 mile in snow. I'm amazed.

You’d think 330hp on a shorty would tap the gearing.On paper it doesn't look like much, but 8mph in a quarter mile is probably 20 sled lengths. Or more.

These sleds really need to be geared up for good speed numbers. They go into overdrive at around 115 mph. They will pull like a freight train up to 115 and then seem to kind of creep up after that.

Bet their speedo was showing way more then 98mph. Ran a guy out here that was bragging about running. 126mph, I had him by so much it was hard to judge the sled lengths. Quick sleds but no match for a boosted winder98 for a doo 850 compared to 115 for a heavy sidewinder srx??? Admit it doo guys, that's just embarrassing!

You can gear high and run long distances and get higher mph, More HP like 290 in 1/4 you will be there a lot quicker vs stock. ET is we’re its at when you hook. Overdrive is when your going like 2500 ft or more, with bigger HP you run out of gear quick. QUICK is what you want when you RACE your buddy’s, RADAR runnng long distances is another depends on what you want. Around here US it’s 660 and you want to gear out at that distance, quickThese sleds really need to be geared up for good speed numbers. They go into overdrive at around 115 mph. They will pull like a freight train up to 115 and then seem to kind of creep up after that.
