No offense....just commenting on the shootout, as all I've heard for years is how heavy and slow 4 strokes are, especially in short drags.
Ski doo makes a good sled.
And to my surprise, so does Cat (with a Yammy under the hood of course!)

My srx is bone stock and we got 115mph in 1/4 mile. Muskoka sidewinder has a video of some runs including my 115mph. I'll also post all the speeds of the sleds today.
All runs were 1/4 mile on a radar gun for the doubters!

first...nice run on that stocker...

second....that other srx had to be real heavy on weights....pick up 5-600 rpms and that would have been money!?

what program is this 330HP ?

Maybe....I believe many on this site could, so there's no doubt Yamaha could, if they choose to do so.
There's really no mystery to what works and what doesnt anymore....everything is so similar these days, like cars. To me, the hands down 'new' idea is that alpha suspension! Add a gyroscope to lean the sled into a corner and....LOL!

It's 8 weeks away to see what it looks like ...
 
Why do some people have to turn this post into if and when Yamaha is building or coming out with a new chassis isn't there enough of them already, kinda getting old.
