- 2014 Apex XTX, 2009 FX Nytro RTX SE
I currently own a 09 nytro RTX and decided to get another one so my family could ride. I found a 09 RTX se with 1500 miles on Craigslist that I picked up for $4500, appeared to be in excellent shape, no rust, no signs of abuse, shocks equally spaced in a arms on both sides, and ski tips lined up. Sled is clean. Last weekend I added studs, changed the oil and slides and happen to notice a small, very small almost unnoticeable, dent behind the front shock on the top a arm, and a small rub on the shock. I also noticed the plate with the hole in it on the bottom of the subframe has a little wee wah in it. Unfortunately it looks like the subframe was bent and they bent it back in place so it looked Ok. My question is do I try and ride it the way it is or have it replaced? I don't ride hard, anymore, mostly just trail riding with my family... Just don't want anything bad to happen when we are out in the middle of no where...

It will bend again but it maybe 1000 of mile or 5 ft. You don't have to replace it just weld supports in.

Get the Grizztrack supports and weld them in as if you dont your steering is messed up and it will pull to one side or the other and make your sled uncontrollable at moderate speeds and yes it will bend again.
When you weld it make sure to disconnect the ECM and Voltage regulator in the nose of the sled.
