i have read enough to know that i need to move my c clip to the second position to avoid bottoming out, i go 250..... but what the hell is it???? and how do i adjust it.... thanks guys...
The c clip is on the bottom of the shock body, it locates the position of the spring. Don't waste your time with the clip, get the 6.5kg/mm rear spring.

I've been told after talking to many that changing the clip is better than changing the spring!
I'm going to just change the clip, myself!!!
I'm 270 now was 280s last year & didn't change anything on my Attak!!!
Hoping to be 250s by riding time & I'm only changing the clip!!!
Changing the clip 1 & in the 5th or 6th position with the spring should be right for 250ish!
Just what I've figured out!
This is for the Attak!
