Well all, after 10 years of riding Yellow (actually 2 purple, 2 black, and 1 yellow) I am moving over to the big dog. Should be picking up a 05 RX-1ER Flat-Black on Tuesday.

Going to be very new for me, new brand, new style, etc.....

Excited though. Now, who is going to give up the Clutching Info LOL

Welcome Dave, you will find that this is a great place to hang.

With the very wide power band, I dont think these things are as critical as what you are used to. And of course jetting is really not a serious issue either. It is going to be very wierd not to dump oil in these things every morning LOL.

Convert is correct, The Speedshop seems to have a real nice setup at a reasonable price. They are also very knowledgable and will to discuss what your looking for. This is also my 1st Yami and this site has been awsome for collecting info. You will find many people with good input and knowledge hear. Not a lot of bashing and internet pissing matches, just good old sledding talk.

Last sled I had was a real nice ZX Chassis 800 MXZ. 121 ExpertX, Fabcraft trailing arms, Team Clutch, Buck Seat. Real cool sled, but given the ring problems, and overall lack of performance (the sled ran real good, but stock vs. tock, didn't hold a candle to to a ZR800).

Just ready to rack miles. Now, to try that adjustable helix thingy.

Welcome aboard Dave. The best tool for a newbie is the "search" option at the top of the page.
