One color for the 05 RX-1?

'04 dry weights (per Yamaha) - RX-1 553 pounds, RX-1 ER 559 pounds,
'05 dry weights RX-1 523 pounds, RX-1ER 537 pounds, more of a difference in '05 in part because '05 ER does not get the magnesium chain case cover- this "improved" part is only for the regular RX-1.

Where did you get the 05 weights from as Yamaha will not publish until sleds finalized>

So we'd be talkin 14 pounds difference... Thats enough for me to want the regular.

Lets not talk about weight anymore, how about the subject of the ugly blue only available on the standard model. I don't have reverse and don't need it. If you like reverse or you need it thats fine too. If weight is really a concern, pull the engine out, get an electric motor in the darn thing and get one long extension cord.
