Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been riding Yami's for almost 30 years. I am a Golf Pro from Indiana and I love snowmobiling. My buddies and I have been going to the UP for almost 20 years. These last couple of years I try to take at least 3 or 4 trips to heaven. My current sled is an 06 Apex ER. Before that I had a 2002 Viper. The Apex is by far the best snowmobile I have ever ridden.
All of my buddies ride Cats. I have been trying to talk sense into them for 20 years now. It's a lost cause. They were all really impressed with the Apex last year. As a matter of fact, my buddy with the ZR 800 was depressed when the week was over. He's a little guy, and I go about 340 in riding gear and the ZR was overmatched. I loved it !!! I have another buddy who rides a thundercat and he was also very impressed with the Apex.
Anyway, I really have enjoyed this site.. It has lots of good information. I look forward to being a part of it. I hope to get to at least 1 TY ride this season. Great to be Here !!!!

An engineer, doctor, and pastor golfing
A pastor, a doctor and an engineer were waiting one morning for a particularly slow group of golfers.
Engineer: What's with these guys? We must have been waiting for 15 minutes!
Doctor: I don't know, but I've never seen such ineptitude!
Pastor: Hey, here comes the greens keeper. Let's have a word with him. [dramatic pause] Hi George. Say, what's with that group ahead of us? They're rather slow, aren't they?
George: Oh, yes, that's a group of blind fire fighters. They lost their sight saving our clubhouse from a fire last year, so we always let them play for free anytime.
The group was silent for a moment.
Pastor: That's so sad. I think I will say a special prayer for them tonight.
Doctor: Good idea. And I'm going to contact my ophthalmologist buddy and see if there's anything he can do for them.
Engineer: Why can't these guys play at night?

A golf pro, cool. I've been trying to figure out how to mount my golf bag to my Apex while I chase my glow balls in the snow.....
Actually, I played at a local Western MA golf course this past February since there was barely any snow at the time. It is one of those year round courses and had to hit two shots out of the snow. Never did that before. Still shot a 43. oh well.
