I am excited about the release of the trail supercharger but I have questions. My biggest concern besides the price is will this add on be reliable as stock? What top end speed gains might there be? I get goose bumps every time I ride the Apex with the power it has but I love the Nytro ride much better and if I could get my Nytro to perform like the Apex power wise I would be a very happy camper. My next question is will Yamaha release a turbo sled next year as I would be pissed if I spent the money this year for the add on?

There are plenty of trail Turbo kits available today, better MPG on the trail. You just need to find the one that best fits you, i.e. kit, service, installers in the local area or do it yourself, etc.
Some kits to think about:
MCX
Boondocker
Ulmer
Alpine
Push
Powder light
FPP
You can safely install one of these kits with the stock motor if running the right boost / octane mix / altitude... Its all about detno!!!!!
Good luck!
