Hello All,

Just thought I would introduce myself, and say hello.
Name is Owen ( call sign - OPIPE - don't ask, it's a long story )
I live about 2 hours North East of Toronto, Ontario, right on the boarder of some really good sled country. ( just outside Peterborough, ON )

I recently bought a "New to me" 2006 RS Vector ER - see below link for the details.
http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=104201

I had a pair of 2003 Yamaha Vmax 600 triples, I sold one in order to buy my first 4 stroke sled. I can't wait to check out the torque, and enjoy the reliability of these machines.
My wife plans on riding the other Vmax 600...

I have been reading lots, on this site, and the information I have already read has been invaluable thus far, but I still have a tonne of questions, so please be patient with me. :o|

Take care, and I hope to meet some of you some day.

Any other South eastern Ontario Sledders out there?

Cheers
OPIPE :yam:

ps, pics to come soon

Congrats again Opipe, I live in Durham region and snowmobile out of Port Perry quite often.
I also have a trailer in Marmora which I plan on riding too this coming winter. My 2 buds did last year and (I couldn't make it) they said it was a great ride.
Have you rode around that area at all? Our trailer is on Crowe Lake at Bayview Trailer Park.

Also ride 06 RS Vector ER. Live smack dab in the middle of a snowmobile hub ( Pembroke ). Welcome to the site.

Us southern Ontarioans call your area central Ontario. ;)!

Make sure you check out the cam chain tensioner thread if you already haven't. http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=90826

LOL, yeh, I guess I can live with that. ;)!

Appreciate the input, and yes I have read a bit about the cam chain tensioner...

In fact I have a question for you, not related to Cam Chains, but something you sell, that I may be interested in...I will PM you shortly.
Thanks
O

Sounds good OPIPE ;)!

Just to let you know, and any other local guys, Port Perry's open house/swap meet is this Sunday at their clubhouse. (Check out freedomsledder.com in the Ontario section for the post)

And another show, which I am sure your aware of, is the sled/swap meet sometime in November at the Morrow Bldg in Peterborough.
Usually some good deals can be had on a lot of things like clothing, accessories and parts.
