Your choices will be limited. I agree they need more but they own the rights to all the styles and patterns for the winshields. Yamaha paid for all the tooling and R&D so what you see on there site is what you get. There will be no aftermarket windshileds...BBY

Well, that's kind of dumb, why would'nt they make the chrome red ones for the RTX guys.

I would be willing to bet they will offer the GT/RTX style windshield in red chrome, blue chrome, black, and clear. They had them listed as windscreens before they updated the site. I'm guessing they just don't have pics yet. If not I need to buy an Apex MTN windshield and get it painted to match my blue Attak. The windshields on the site are butt ugly!!

Well than I gotta say Yamaha dropped the ball on windshields this year. I've always been very happy with their accessory options in the past but this windshield selection SUCKS!!! Are they gonna offer a pure black one like the RTX/GT or did Hauck paint this one...

My quess is that their will be more shields available. You would normally see the standard OEM shields available as an accessory to other sleds, but it seems these part numbers aren’t out yet. I think the current selection would look way better in person since the pics don’t accent the chrome look. I personally like what I see so far!

99% sure that windshield on Hauck's sled is a prototype clear one repainted black if it's the same thing I have on my sled as well.
