I think you guys are wishing upon a star.
This started last August and no word from him since.
And mid October when he said it would be done came and went long ago.

WRP brought up doing this 2 - 3 years ago. Is this for real this time?

Yes it is for real. I have an Apex sled here and as soon as my techs finish up the new Back country boondocker seat for the PRO RMK they will start on the Apex. I hope to gain enough info on the forums to build a seat that will satisfy most Apex owners.

Oh and the seat should be available by mid October of this season.

I think we are just trying to get him to come back and talk about it some more... maybe another seat is in order.
