has anyone seen the new yamaha dual keel skis??? They seem like a great value . I know guys who run the pilots and they work well to get it going straight but these yamaha ones are like half the price!!!!!

They are on the Yamaha website under accesories.

double downs

have used double downs on my 06 vector love em..i have 14287 miles on the 06 it's never been ridden any other way..normt

Looks like that ski has the same concept as a double down runner. I used to run double downs on both skis, but found that a double down on the outside ski and a woody's dually on the inside ski works the best. If you have double downs on both skis and they are worn just buy a new wood'ys dually for the inside ski. I have tried everything and this is the best setup in my opinion.

Which ski is the "inside" ski?

The left one when sitting on the sled.

Why do you say that? are talking about oval racing?

Inside ski is on the inside part of the trail, outside ski is on the outside part of the trail. When you go into a turn your right ski is on the outside part of the trail and the left one is on the inside of the trail. Hope this clarifies this for you.

Anyone who ordered these new skis actually receive them yet?

Heard they are on back order. No one I know of has gotten them. Dealers told them end of December.

skis

I stopped yesterday and was told JANUARY for the new slides and skis, which probably really means FEB.what a bummer they couldn't have made these over the summer?????

BY then they will be releasing their 100hp new Phazer that will look like conventional sled with some actual wind protection, for about $8000 bucks so I'll be ordering that and won't need the skis anyways. ;)!
