I'm looking for some rider testimonials for nextech's mono full carbon fibre skid. It seems too expensive just to try it. I like their claims, but real world riders aren't selling products. http://carbonsled.com/index.html

Nobody? What do you guys think? They said I could buy it, try it and if I didn't like it, send it back. Alot of money to fall in love, but my marriage cost me more. You just can't put a price on freedom, can ya. They aren't making the 144 with the six degree tip at 121 yet. Maybe if I send them my rails in the spring they'll have it for next year.

Like you I have never heard one ride review about the skid. I guess the thing I wonder about the greatness of the skid is how much of it is just because it is carbon fiber, and how much of it is the actual design and riding charcteristics of it.
What are you looking for from the skid? A smoother ride? More of a ditchbanger skid? Both? Like you said it is alot of money to drop for a suspension.
Sorry I can't really help you out.

I would like it to do everything, if it's what they claim. I'd also do my arms to a 44" ski stance. I don't think a small diet would hurt. Not to say the sleds heavy but I'd like to shave a few to make up for my extra. My own ultimate nytro.

Thanks for your support and opinion. I'm still undecided until I hear rider reports though. With this little time left in the season I wouldn't be able to give it a fair test to send it back if don't like it. Everything seems to be bang on, but, a Johnny Skeptic here. Also why I didn't buy and 08 Nytro. Research and reviews and I'll believe them. When I talked to them they said they'd try to get testimonials from guys, but they didn't want to pry on their customers too much. If I get the testimonials I'll post'em here.

have you seen this. I don't believe there are any reviews in there, but some good info can be taken from it I think.
