Nice coolant shut off for carbs

Does this shut off correct the hot start problem for sure? I went riding today and had to use throttle to start every time, unless I restarted immediately after shut down. To me this is very annoying and I would like to fix it for good. Thanks for any help.

In warmer weather, like above 20 degrees there is no need to heat the carbs, so a little power can be gained, probably not to noticable.
Plus it is a nice feature when removing the carbs, one less line to pinch off with a vise grip.

The infamous RX1 "burble" that they all seem to have...some more than others...even when stock might be a function of the rubber bellows/diaphragm being affected by the cold. I suspect that the coolant running through the carbs stabilizes the temperature and allows the rubber to stay flexible...no technical data to back this up, just a hunch.

If this solves startup problems, it is worth it. Nice and neat Ted.
