I had to remove my Barkbuster front end kit because I couldn't steer any more. I think the teflon or whatever was in the Heim joints wore or fell out after about 2000 Km.
I tried replacing them with ones with grease nipples but there was not enough clearance and the vertical spindles hit the gease nipples and tore them out. Anybody have the same problem or a solution. I had to put the stock A-arms back on so I could ride it.
I would be calling Allen about that one, they should be lasting alot more than 2000ks. Ive ordered spares for my kit. You may want to upgrade to race rose joints if this keeps happening again. What type of riding are you doing?
I would suggest Aurora mil spec chrome moly heim ends, they are light-years better than the stock ones, as a side note I just make it a point to change them out at 1500 miles, cheap insurance....IMHO
