I blew my rear suspension earlier this year and I have been riding for a few hundred miles without it because I know it won't be an easy job. I was wondering is there any way to tell what shock is blown without dropping the skid? I don't see the sides of either shock split. My sled is a 2008 nytro RTX 40th anniversary edition. Also are the shocks rebuildable or would you suggest putting a new one in. If I put a new one in should I put a aftermarket one in?
Anybody have some knowledge on this? This is my son's sled and we are going to start the tear down in about a month once it warms up since riding here is pretty much done.
