So my dealer lied and said they changed everything before delivering my used 2014 ZR7000lxr.
I changed both motor and chain case oil today based on a lot of what I learned on TY. Reverse worked after I was done on the stand, took it off the stand and tried to back out of the garage and nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When reinstalling the actuater there should be a little resisistance counter clockwise, line up the bolts and start by hand threading, then tighten. Also you must go from forward to reverse at least 2-3 times on the stand, not to much throttle just engage clutching. Use brake between shifting.

Fixed, thank you for the help. I did the groove offset the first time, this time I lined it up and had to move CC about 3/8" and it worked fine. Gonna have to get used to working on these Cats...never had so much oil on my garage floor from a Yamaha!
I think it's worth it.
