not a 4 stroke but still

hey guys my father bought a used viper mountain off of a guy from work that needed it gone but it is not a very good sled for him with no reverse or electric start .. i was just wondering if anybody knows what parts i would need to add reverse ? is it just a chain case swap ? or is it more than that ? is it vary hard to do ? any help would be great .. oh and i belive it is an 04 if it is just a chain case swap what doner sleds could i use anything other than another viper ?
