Not a computer guy needs advice

I am new to this whole forum thing but wow is there a lot of information out here cool site. I guess I'm old school and have not really been into computers. Can someone tell me how to set up the picture/avatar thing.

Do you have a picture on your computer that you want as your avatar? If so, when you are in your "profile" you seen near the bottom it says "Do you have a picture on your machine" and to the right is a blank box with a "search" button. Click on that button and then direct it to where you have the picture on your HD. Example C:Your Pictures/me.jpg" or something like that. That will add that picture as your avatar. Hope this helps.

So I have to type in the total location not just cut and paste? If I move or delete the pic I assume the Avatar will not move.

By the way what is the story behind the banjo?

DELTABOX keep in mind the picture size has to be 155 pixels wide and 150 high max smaller will work fine. They also need to be 313K or smaller in file size and saved as a JPG file system won't let you upload BMP files. There's an explanation of the requirements right below where you put in the file name in the profile.
