I believe it is a 9 tooth, going to a 10 would have its benefits but at the risk of bending the drive shaft. The larger diameter will hang below the belly-pan. Contact with the ground, or anything else can now hit the shaft rather than the belly its pretty common to scrub the belly on repeated mogul sections. This was something of an issue on the 03' F7 firecats, 04' they changed to a 9 tooth, one of many reasons the 03's where the fastest F's.
