Hey I know this may be a stupid question? But do the battery need to be fully charged in order for my Nytro to run? I mean can you start the sled and then disconnect the battery and the sled will still stay going? kinda like you can do with a car? What I'm getting at is my sled will run till the battery goes dead then it shuts down (code 46). I charge up the battery up code goes away and the same thing happens, sled dies (code 46). I did a test on the system with the test light to the negative terminal seems to be NO drain on the system. I've seen all the threads about wire harness chafing, starting solenoid etc. I've owned the sled since new in 2010 and yes I guessing I did good on the original battery and its time for a new one. I'm just trying to rule out the obvious first.

Thanks.

If you have a multimeter you should see that the voltage is higher while engine is running than when it is turned off or something is wrong with your charging circuit. Should be higher than 12.5v either way.
