i just want to know how far on the dipstick i want the chain case oil to up on it. I know you screw in the chain case dipstick to check the level but on the dip stick there is no "high" or "low" level. There is a line right in the middle of the dipstick, is that where I should keep it at? Thank you

I believer there is a sticker on your belt guard that lists the fluid capacities if I am remembering right.

I've already put some in though, I don't know how much, I just need to know how far up on the dip stick it needs to be. I have it right now at just over the half line on the dip stick while screwed in. Can someone just check theirs and let me know how far theirs goes up on the dip stick while screwed in?

Looking at my owners manual it says rev below the line and std above the line. Mine has reverse. The manual says it should be at or below the line after screwing the dipstick in with the sled on a level surface. If oil does not show on the dipstick then add some. Sounds like you may have a little extra in which likely wont hurt anything imo.

Yeah i often wondered what it hurts if its a little too full? I'm pretty particular that its at the proper level. But a little over full.... big deal?

I am not a mechanic, but to have a bit too much in there cant possibly be all bad.
