Hey all...just wondering something. Will a 2009 Nytro engine fit in a 2006 Nytro sled??? Thanks.

Yes physically it will fit. The Fx nytro engines are FI so different wiring, ecu, throttle bodies, air box. ect.

Would it be worth my while to pop out the '09 and drop it in my '06? Tensioner went on my '06 and took out my motor. Thought putting the '09 in would be easier/cheaper then fixing the '06.

I think it would be more of a project than you think. Anything can be done with enough time and money.
I think you would be better off to find another like motor that would be plug & play or part the sled out and up-date?

You'd have to really be in love with it to undertake that swap. Me personally if I had the extra "eff you" money I'd consider it but it would just be for novelty. Would be sweet to have an actual fuel injected RS Nytro.
