Anyone put a performance muffler made for cars on there nytro.

See many installs like that, get a regular old chambered muffler (like a magnaflow) that is just undersized inlet, heat the inlet pipe and size it up to fit correct with an expander, Cut yourself 4 relief cuts into the inlet pipe for the stock band clamp, then heat the muffler header panel and bend the inlet pipe to the angle needed to align on the nytro correctly.

Thanks. Yes I'm still running this setup. Sorry don't have any sound clips of it. Sounds pretty good, not too loud. I might try make one with a glasspack and see how that sounds.

There’s a u tube vid with a Nytro with a cherry bomb on it and it sounds nasty , been thinking of trying it

Well I must have jinxed myself. Last weekend my sled got way louder during my ride. To the point my ears were ringing by the time I got home. With the sled running I plugged the exhaust with my hand and it kept running fine.... I thought maybe my donuts were shot so I started pulling it apart and found this.
I believe this was caused because the exhaust I made had no support between the rear mount and where it connects to the header. 2 seasons of extra stress on the header and this is the result. Luckily I found someone selling a used header locally and put it on, along with my stock muffler.
