Well I finally got on my new 09 rtx today and started the break in. Is it me or is the steering super stiff... Coming from a 08 Vector wow the Nytro is hard to turn...Anyone else finding this ???

Buy some Kimpex Arrow skis and you won't complain about heavy steering again, plus you'll be able to turn much quicker too.

The geometry of the Nytro is different. Other sleds you turn by pushing and pulling toward your body. The Nytro turns by pushing down and pulling up, kind of like a steering wheel turns. That's one of the great things about the Oft steering re-locator. It makes the motion more "natural". When you first start to ride a Nytro you will feel as if you are fighting the steering, making it difficult.

When I first rode my brothers attak, I was like wow this is like power steering.

But I didn't tell you to put on Slydogs, I said put on Arrows. ;):D

I don't think he's listeding to you lol.. I run slp powder pros with 6.5 shapers works good for me :-o

camoplast blow molded skis realy lighten up the steering, big big improvement..............and they are cheap!

Have Arrow skis on mine, like the way they corner but still hard on steering. I tried my friend Apex 2011 last week, and, WOOOWWW, i want a power steering on my Nytro! Easy turn and NO ski lift. I was pretty amazed how it was to ride. I really was laughing in my helmet. This new Apex will be unbeateable in the trails this winter: Powerful, could not corner better, great suspension, and reliability.

This is the only thing i hate about my sled, HEAVY STEERING. If i would be able to get it to steer light as any other sled, it would the happiest man on the trails.

I gotta agree, If the nytro came out with power steering it would be awesome. Then you could really set this sled up to rail the corners. I had mine set up to rail, but it didn't take long and I was exhausted
