I have a 2008 Yamaha NITRO that I just replaced the HYFAX's on. After pulling old ones off I put lubrication on new hyfax, and put back on. I made sure that the sides correctly covered the groves on each side. THen screwed in the phillips screw. After riding about 80 miles I noticed that both sides had ripped almost complete out the back of the track. In fact one side curled right up into the suspension. I have no idea why this would have happened. Shade tree told me these were the correct sizes and as I put them on they seemed tight. Any help is appreciated!!

Sounds like the threads were bad and the screws pulled out. I had this happen to me. After that I drill out the threads, drill a hole in the rail for a nut and that fix that.

did the replacement sleds have cut out in the front for the curve if they did not that is why and if they did they are sno-stuff slides there has been a problem with the mold and the part that holds them on the skid is not made right.
