Was out playing in the hills and she started to idle rough and then quit's running, crank the sled over and smoke just rolls out the exhaust and it stinks real bad, let it sit a few minutes try it again and i had to give it a little throttle to get it going again, ran rough for few seconds then started running good, rode 100+ miles with no issues. What give's?
oil level good and so is the coolant don't see any wires that are rubbed, was thinking maybe the TORS?
And how are you guys changing the spark plugs ? (can't get the caps off)

wrap your fingers around the base of the coils and twist back and forth while pulling hard. they pop right out. sounds like you have a fouled plug (or plugs)
do you have any engine/exhaust mods on your sled?

I use a wrench or small screwdriver. Anything for a bit of leverage on where you plug the coil in.
I lost my sled tool kit so a plug socket one universal adapter and a 3" extension. Should be able to get the drive wrench in enough ti loosen it.

yea, it doesnt really take that long to get the tank off and since you are having problems anyways I would take it off and inspect everything. with the tank off its a breeze to get the plugs out but if you want to do it with the tank on I would do what fxnytro1050 sugests but it is a tight sqeeze that way.
I have also noticed since I switched to cr10ek spark plugs that I havent had a fouled plug at all, were as with the cr9's (stock) they fouled once or twice a season.

agreed, sense I've installed the cr10ek plugs I haven't fouled one(knock on wood). they were installed the beginning of last season so.

took the tank off, only had 9's to put back in. Had this set of plugs in since it was new in 2009. I don't think i could of gotten the plugs out with the gas tank still on without thrown a wrench or two.
Thanks for the input, will see how it goes this weekend.
