Slow going through trees as limbs were down from the wind.Going about 12mph.
Right ski glances off rock sending sled left towards a tree.Fluke thing.
Bars full crank right to avoid a head on with the tree.
Left ski(turned full right)takes the impact approx 4-5 inches in front of the spindle.
Right side also may be bent a bit but I can tell better in the daylight.
Things ars a bit bent now.
If parts are on backorder I'm done for the year on the RTX and the old reliable 06 GT gets the nod.
Just had the RTX runnung great and 95% dialed in.This sled is really a good sled.I was even thinking today about getting another FX Nytro RTX mabey a 09 long track.
Sled is insured.
My 04 Warrior and 06 Apex GT took alot of hits and I have taken some nasty hits with my 05 MXZ 600 HO and none have come away with any damage at all.The Warrior was a tank.
Seems like alot of damage and bending for the hit it took.
Must have hit it just right.

I bent a rev front end doing 5 mph maybe, its all in how and what you hit and on what angle.
You hit something, expect things to bend. The front end looks like its easy to fix when bent. I'm speaking from speculation only. But I've straightened out a rev and the Nytro should be easier then the rev's.
tear down the front end and start measuring everything for consistency. Yamaha wont come up on this one, and so they shouldn't.

Sled is insured and I don't expect Yamaha to pay for anything.
Just pointing out when hit right the Nytro may bend up more than expected and I've taken worse unexpected hits on many other sleds that have shown no damage.
No marks on a arms.
Skis took the hit and the force appeared to go on the ski bolt and then the spindles were forced to move twisting the a arms.
Frame in the nose may be bent a little.
Its at the dealer now waiting until the mech can get at it after he goes to the Yamaha school for a week.
I don't expect to ride my RTX until next season unless there are parts available and even then it would probably be end of Feb at the earliest.
Edit--Also have an oil leak.
Noticed alot of oil had leaked out overnight.Under the sled and all over the floor of the trailer.
Light never came on on way back to trailer.
Glad I didn't toast the motor.

Just by looking at that warped ski you got there, it looks as if you smacked something pretty good. I know, I've been there....
