Nytro seat on a warrior?

Do any of you guys know if I could put a nytro seat on my warrior? I think the tank covers are different but would I be able to work it so that the seat would still fit and just cover up most of the tank cover instead of having to modify the existing cover?

The Nytro seat will fit, but you'll have to cut your cover. No big deal, air cutter and take your time. I was thinking the same for my 03 shorty, but who knows when they'll be available??? I'm going with a BOSS High Wide Top this Summer.

Do you know the height difference from the 05 seats to the Boss?

I'm also thinking about changing my seat and cant decide what would be better...I want a trunk and dont know yet what Boss seats offer...if anything for a Rage.

I going to the Yamaha show next Monday armed with a tape measure and camera. I'll post my findings.

The Nytro seat is about 3 in taller then an 05 I would say. The BOSS flat top comes up to the top of the tank cover. Yes the Nytro seat has a trunk. The BOSS seat can be ordered with one as well.

Does this mean the Boss Flattop is taller than the Nytro seat? If so is there a Boss that is lower? The top of the tank cover seems real tall.

What does this Boss seat look like compared to the Nitro. Anyone hear what the costs of each option. maybe we should try to get a group buy on seats, Roxio articulating risers (which height 2, 3-1/2, or 5"), new cables and brake hose. A complete kit to make our sleds into Nitro set ups.

They don't seem to have a lot of info on their products without a phone call.[/quote Ok ...from what I understand you may have to trim alittle of your tank cover to get the nitro seat to fit but just be careful and take your time and it can be done with the right tools..Yes i beieve it has a trunk too...but if boss has a seat and its lighter and fits and looks good and has a trunk I would sway that way 1st.
