Nytro seat on Attak? Need Help.

O.K. after riding the 07's I have fallen in love with the RTX. The first thing I noticed was the firmer seat like the Nytro. I spent last night overlapping a blue Apex E.R. and a Blue Nytro on the computer and I think they are the same seat. Has anyone tried or have a way of confirming this? If anyone has acces to a Nytro and a Apex or Attak you should be able to confirm or dismiss my hypothesis. Or maybe someone could find out by making a phone call to Yami. Thank You.

If you can find a used nytro seat or apex mountain you can have the foam swapped with your attack,then sell the leftover seat.

I believe it was 4fighter who said the nytro has the same wiring as rx1 so I dont think it would plug into your attack wiring.

The apex mountain seat on my rx1,the wiring was not even close as far as the conections(whole different style of connector plus it was routed different and too short).

Yep the Nytro seat has the square style plug

Yes it definatly firmer than 121" apex and attack.

SUPERMAN does your attack have the same style connector as apex mountain?

Steve, I would have to assume that all Apex/Attaks are alike (round plug). But I have not confirmed this myself. I did check $ on a new Apex mountain seat and it's 580 bucks on the retail side. Was yours a take off or did you buy new.

The 07 rtx and nitro seat are different the rtx seat is a little wider on top.

Mine was a take off.I checked on a nytro seat at local dealer and it was $585.00 new.I paid 275.00 shipped from canada.

That's cool. If I would have known a seat like the Apex/nytro would have fit on my RX-1 I would not have sold it last summer. Looks good steve. How do you like it?

Be aware, that before you change seats if the model has the triangular tail light, then the seat most likely has the round plug. The Nytro has the twin cylinder tail lights, not the triangular one so the plug is the same as the RX-1 and RS sleds.

It makes standing up for the big holes much easier,with the bars raised as well.Having a trunk is also nice.

Sitting on all the 06 yamaha,s the nitro felt the most comfortable for me,seat firmness and bar hieght etc.Thats pretty much exactly how mine is now.
