I bought a set of Curve Ski's and want to relign the ski's. Was told to run 1/8" toe out per ski 1/4" total. Also was told due to the Nytro handling could go up to 1/2" total. What have others been running?

Also some sites and videos say use a light bungie on the ski loops to remove the light slop. Was thinking, wouldn't it be better to bungie the rear of the ski for adjustments; then it would pull the front of the ski's into their natural tracking habits like it does when the machine is moving. Or do the ski's naturally pull toe in when moving.

Thanks

I'm running curves on my nytro with Bergstrom triple points at about 3/8" toe out. Tracks good that way. Also have the skis shimmed to put pressure on the heal of the ski. Help tracking. Lots of write-ups about shimming the rubber on the ski. Pretty sure mine are shimmed about 1/4" at the rear of the rubber.

I have the same Bergstrom triple points and rubbers reversed and shimmed and their ski savers (3/8" spacer under carbide). Works perfect on my Tuner IIs, I think they have a good system regardless of the ski.

Thank you both for the info. It sounds like Bergstrom triple points are a great product. I did shim mine also at 1/4, and it does seem to help with the darting and a more even wear of the carbides, as mine were wearing in the front before.

sxvipersman-- You said you were running about 3/8 toe out? Is that per ski or total?

Hooray!--The 3/8'' ski savers under your carbides, is it noticeable for handling (easier or harder turning) or about the same?

Thanks

Yes, when you add to carbide depth, it does make a difference. Seems to dig in better on entry and exits.

Bergstrom has a full spec on toe out w their kit. Less than I expected, will confirm but my skis measured 3/16" to total so divide by 2 and very little per ski. Will post their instructions.
