Nytro Stabilizer bar adjustment

There is a front hole and a back hole located on your lower arm. For the stiffer position install into the front hole. The front hole is the one nearest the front of the sled. No need for pics as this is not difficult to explain or figure out. You need to do this to both sides. You are creating less hinge in the joint making it stiffer. Poor design really, but this is all we have to work with so far.

Yamaha has the worst design out there. All the other manufactures have inboard stabilizer bars that don't hang down below the a-arms. It looks like a n accident waiting to happen to me. I wish they would change it or someone would come up with one from the after-market.

I couldn't agree more.

When you guy adjusted your sway bars. Did you have to lift the sled up? Is there alot or any tension when you discontted the sway bar? Any tips before I start wrenching and try this would be great. Thanks

I didn't raise the sled up, just did it on the ground, no tension.

Hmm thats odd i'd think there would be some kinda tension on the bar.
Thanks for the info ;)! Now I have to change it and give it a try.

These guys make an awesome swaybar for the Phazer: http://www.schmidtbrosmotorsports.com/Y ... r-Kit.html

Might want to give them a call to discuss adapting it or something like it to your Nytro.

ya I talked to him about one for the nytro...didnt seem ready yet...those daggers pretty intimidating....a little longer and they could double as skewers for shish kabob...only problem is you'd have to cut the stock bar off....

My lower a arm only has 1 hole for the link to sway bar, am i missing something, LOL.

I guess i can drill another hole closer to the front ???

proofs in the pudding, so I'll try it, but looked it over really good last time we discussed this and I dont see swapping holes having any effect. the whole is same distance from frame and sway link has a tie rod that makes the whole swap ineffective. the new whole would have to be closer to the ski to have effect
c'mon arteex, get your slide ruller and protractor out and settle this.

then dont do it..
if youre happy stick with what you have...
who knows maybe all the things Ive done to my sled are just the placebo affect...uh not!
