I've dabbled and dabbled with the rear suspension on my Nytro XTX and am still struggling to get any sort of ski lift. I know the Star Suspension kit helps drastically but I'm not planning to install the kit until Spring time when it warms up (working in an unheated garage when its 10 degrees outside isn't fun).

It's a 2011 XTX, 2" Challenger track, dropped 2 teeth on the upper gear. Some of the adjustments I know for sure, but I need a few quick reminders on the others (in red).
  • Limiter Straps all the way out (factory setting)
  • Center Shock set very stiff
  • Rear Shock set fairly soft?
  • Torsion Springs? (Soft, Medium, or Firm)
  • Transfer Rods threaded down to the lowest mark of the 3?

Have you tried taking the blocks out and just running the shaft it allows a lot more weight transfer I have been running my 121 like this for years I just have the oem ripsaw with Mack studs down the center and on really hard hard pack mine will scare the crap out of me into thinking it's coming over backwards

Jack the rear of you sled off the floor and check to see if the track is even along the front to rear before the rails turns up in the rear or front(2.5'-3' straight section). The distance at the front or the rear should be the same from the floor up to the track held against sliders i.e. 1.25" at front 1.25" at rear. If rear is higher than front pull limiter up one hole and re-measure. I have a XTX and the rear is on Med the front limiter is up one hole from factory and center shock is 5mm preload (dual spring) track measurement is even across. .I ride trails so transfer is set at min (all the way up to redline). good luck

Pete
