I am looking to add more weight transfer to my Nytro XTX and have a question on the control rod (transfer rod). I search all threads I could find on adjusting the transfer rod and it was mentioned that if you see more threads you should have more weight transfer. After looking at the Nytro manual, it states that if you want more weight transfer to tighten up (shorten) the control rod - see attached. Intuitively this makes sense as it would allow for more ski lift but I wanted to make sure.
Has someone on here max out the control rod (less threads) with the limiting strap set to stock (fully extended)? I am trying to set up my Nytro to be a nice backcountry sled that can sidehill nicely. I recently removed the swaybar, added Fox floats (set at 60psi), and I want to max out the weight transfer. Also, I was planning on dropping another tooth to 19T.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
