SRX's are lower to the ground, and you sit lower to the ground. Nytro's have higher center of gravity, and it takes more effort to get them to turn.

bought the wrong sled if you want to rail corners like a srx....need some aggressive skis and you can make it better maybee.

JRE Trail King Kit, will outrail your SRX and ride smooth at the same time.

Check out the JRE Trail King End of Season Sale thread or the JRE 250 mile review thread.

SPLIT RAILS. I have them on my nytro and will never ride one without them again. The best mod ive ever done to a sled bar none. Shane

Adjust your transfer. Get the sled to rock back and you lighten the steering. Experiment til you get it where you like it.

Lower your front skid shock spring till its loose and tighten one turn, that will lower your sled. Give it a little bit more transfer. Remove the skies and put the spindle spacers all on the out side of the ski at the base of the spindle. That will widen your ski stance. Also move the sway bar to the next hole. Put some aggressive snow trackers or cobra head runners on the stock skies, or go to a more aggressive after market ski. Before you try all that make sure your rear skid is set up properly for your weight. Enjoy. Thats as good as it gets. SRX is lower to the ground and does not have a 144" track. XTX is a crossover sled.

Along with Star suspension and tweaking the setup, it will rail like an srx.

All suggestions above will help, but fundamentally, 4" of carbide won't cut it on a front end that puts 220 lbs of weight on each ski!

Consider at least 6" of carbide for starters, and then look at all of your weight tranfer options (limiter/springs) to get the handling / steering effort balance you are after.

I run 7.5 inches of carbide shaper bars. My xtx turns like crazy but it has heavy steering at low speeds. I am still tweaking my setup and have been seeing the effects of toe out and limiter on the steering effort and am making some progress to lighten the steering.

Cheap to try, and you should see a noticable change right away.

put the pilot 6.9's with 60deg carbides on my xtx this season. It was a major help. Thinking of the zbros kit now. The xtx in near stock form will not beat the srx on a WELL groomed trail or the lake. They dont groom that well around here sometimes so the nytro for me is a much better choice.

I'm getting an 2013, has Yami fixed this issue from the factory? Or do I need to look at all the options from you knowledgable TY team?

If you don't ride rough trails loosen the springs on the ski shocks until they rattle then tighten enough so they don't. It will rail in the corners!
