Thinking of changing over from an RTX to an XTX. I do mostly trail riding and I wanted to get some input from some XTX owners or riders who have time on both sleds as to how well the XTX performs in the trails. Will I be able to handle as well in the tight and twisties or am I better off sticking with the RTX.

I think it depends on how hard you want to ride. I come off a 121 and thats all I have ever riden and riding this year with the same people I always ride with I can say they never had to wait for me on the trails and my buddies couldn't shake me either. The sled takes more input from the rider but if you are willing to put out you wouldn't be disappointed.

bought an 09 xtx
the 09 xtx handles trails as well or even better. it just don,t beat you up nearly as bad.

Listen to what Turk says. I have a 08 RTX that I put the Ulmer 144 kit on with a Cobra 1 3/8 track. Why didn't I do this earler? Still as good as the 121" however it will push a bit in turns, but the over all ride is far better, plus we have the good rear sup.

How is it compared to a Apex in the trails?
