o5 rx-1 oil pressure gage sender unit location

I have done quite a bit of both engine and skid work to my o5 red rx-1 er.I have installed a water temp gage and want to also install an oil presure gage.There appears to be very limited options for where to plumb the sending unit in.There is a spot on the top back of the head and the other best option seems to be to purchase a remote oil filter kit and plumb it into one of the elbows in the remote kit.I would like to ask for any advice or guidance from wiser members who may have already attempted this install.Finally can anyone say with certainty what I can expect the engine to run for oil pressure.Thanks in advance.

Is it pressure in the oilfilter, or is it connected before the oilpump so it's sucking oil through it instead?
