I just got off the phone with Dave. He said it looks like the trails are taking a beating down by Marathon, and with NO snow in the near future and the temps warming up a little bit next week, we have decided to keep the ride on Tug Hill with the Edge Hotel being the starting point each morning. 10 AM on Wed. 9 AM the rest of the days. I'll see everyone on Wed. morning, or later on if you are not going to ride Wed., but will be up later in the week. Looks like Buaffalo Head for dinner on Friday. They have a great Fish Fry there. CHECK ON THE OLD POST FOR ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE RIDE. :yam: :yam: :4STroke: BBW

Geez, sounds like we've got a good shot at having one of the largest groups ever on a NY TY ride. Here's a photo from one of our '04 rides.

Wow-That brings back memories! Look the smoke cloud around that 4th sled from the left. I went through at least a case of plugs on the 2 smoke on that ride in 1 day.

4th sled from the right? Dontcha mean the 4th sled from the LEFT?? Gee, I guess all that 2 smoke killed a few brain cells there, Boom. That is how I first encountered you on the 2004 TY ride....side of the trail (with Darren), the hood on that red SX up, and you had an armfull of sparkplugs trying to get that son-of-a-gun running. Ahhh, the memories.

Like RX1-Man said, I am suuuure you miss those days.

Yeah, I meant left. Give me a break, I was only an 1 1/2 hours after being woken from anesthesia when I wrote that. I was still pretty buzzed.

Yeah my right arm is still an inch longer from all the cord pulling I did that day.

What I wouldn't do to have a pull start 2 stroke...... NOT!!!!

I am so ready to ride this week! :rocks: :jump:

Here is a possible itinerary for our ride. This all subject to change.

Wed. ride to Brantingham, to stillwater, to Beaver River, eat lunch at the Norridewock (Steves request), then C8 towards Harrisville, over to Star Lake, to Cranberry lake, then back through Carthage, to Tug Hill and back to the Hotel. Dinner where ever we are at dinner time. probably 180-200 miles

Thursday. We will plan on riding up to Montague, to Little John, to Wiona Forest, to Laconia(eat Lunch here) to Pulaski, to Lake Ontario, to Altmar, to Redfield, to 46 Corners, to Sawncotts mills up Camp 4 rd to Sportsmans, to Smith Rd. to hotel. Dinner again depending where we are at that time. Again probably 200 miles

Friday. Ride the Southern part of the hill, then head over toward White lake area, Forestport area, Lunch where ever we are, but we will plan on being at Buffalo Head at around 5:30 for Dinner, then back up the New Trail from White lake area over to the Hotel. 160-180 miles.

Sat. no plan yet. We will see where everyone wants to ride. We could ride up towards Barnes Corners to Copenhagan up to great bend area, or we could head over toward Salisbury Ridge runners trails. We'll see what everyone wants.
See you Guys in the morning. BBW

Just talking about the Norridgewock the other day. Been a long time since I've been there. Good call Steve O on lunch there ;)!

Salisbury trails always good. Depending on how warm it actually gets towards the end of the week maybe Saturday could be ride to Morrisville or even Georgetown.

Damn, i havent ridden to star lake and we been talking about it this year but i wont be able to get to ride until thursday... Oh well, thurs and friday sound good. couple 200 mile days!!
