As of now, I am going to have to hang up the skis. I work in the turbulant automotive industry in Michigan, and like many others, the bad economy has come down on me.

I crashed my sled this season and my insurance company totalled it. I was planning on buying a new one this fall, but there is no way.

So for all of my fellow TY brothers....grab a handful of the flipper for me next season.

I work in the same industry and we are in the proccess of fighting to keep our chevy dealership but after the unavoidable bankrupcy gm is faceing I think we are screwed... but will keep pushing on to new avenues.

I am luckily employed here in Lansing at the Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealer which did NOT get the axe.
To be employed in Lansing Michigan is a blessing on its own! Good luck to everyone!!

I'm with you man! I am in the same boat,I am trying to sell off my Apex also, as I don't know whats going to happen to my job,but it's not looking good.

Best of luck Luck 7. I know where you are coming from. I work for an automotive supplier and we are trying to hang in there. My best situation is that I get to hang onto my sled but not be able to ride it next season as it is paid for. But if I lose my job or have to take further pay cuts it will have to go too. G.B.

I am currently sledless and at this point have no intention of getting another :o|

Lucky_7, really sorry to hear about your situation. I cannot imagine a season without sledding and certainly don't envy your situation.

Oh you'll be back - money never stopped anyone from this sport you can find a deal even if it is an SRX with 5000 miles on it - stay in the game man. You can't give in that easy :die

Mighty are you Ok? I mean your taking your meds right? LOL

I hope you are fine, I have been amazed and envious over the years of watching you move in and out of different sleds ( you seem to be well connected and know when to pull the trigger) so I will still hope to meet you riding at a TY ride.

Hang in there all you guys this economy will turn and it will snow.

Best wishes and I hope things turn around for all of us soon. I think once you have the itch it never leaves......you'll have a sled again one day and we will see you on the powder again!
