4strknytro is a customer who purchased a relocator from OFT. I'm not sure where he got the grad strap but you could PM him and ask him where he got it.
I'll get some more measurements and give you an answer about your windshield tomorrow.

If you look at the first picture in the post by 4strknytro you can clearly see the tuning forks on the mountain strap:
The grab bar is cool, but I wanna know what this little red switch does.

That mountain strap should be available at your Yamaha dealer!

cemjr,
I affixed a piece of cardboard to the standard FX Nytro windshield cut out as close to the shape of what your tall screen is based on the pictures that I see online. With just the relocator and no additional riser, the handlebars will clear, but if you are running handguards, it's gonna be close.
With an extra 2-1/2" riser, you will not have any problems.

thanks scott, I will most definitely be going with the 2.5" riser and after some seat time on the new sled I'll make a decision on the relocator. It looks like a quality piece.

Has anyone had any problems with the install of the relocator? I put mine on tonight and the bottom was reallly tight and doesnt bind the steering but it did tighten it up a little.

I have mine on the lift and it definitely turns harder than it did before with no weight on the skis. Can you over tighten them? Maybe mine is too tight.

i just talked to scott. im going to check a couple things tonight. Make sure when you bent the 2 8mm studs down they are at the right angle so that when you put the inside aluminum block on it sits nice and flat on the chassis.
Any excessive tightness you are feeling is more than likely a mis-alignment of the steering post. Chances are it is the lower bearing block not sitting flat against the frame.
1. If you have the sled on a lift, try the sled on the ground to make sure it's not the rubber tie rod boots causing the resistance from the skis hanging.
2. Make sure the back side of the lower bearing block is mounted flat on the frame. The 8mm studs that are bent downward/forward can cause it to mis-align if they are bent too far or not enough. This can be checked with a shim guage or piece of paper.
3. If step 2 doesn't solve the problem, loosen all the mounting bolts just slightly. Check the steering and then tighten the lower block. Check the steering and then tighten the blue upper bracket bolts ( allen heads ). Last, tighten the two upper bracket cross bolts.
Installation instructions can be found here:

Let us know if these steps do not solve the "tightness".
