What do you guys who put the fat boy spring in have you rebound set at. I go about 250 with gear and bags. Any ideas men??

I've got mine set 5 clicks harder.(5 clicks in from the standard spot in the manual).

I'm 260 w/o gear, full leathers when I ride, wife won't let me near the scale when I'm geared up. (Can't understand why)

I've been up and down the setting range after the spring change and found myself right back at the stock setting for most conditions. That setting seemed to give me the best range of adjustment with the electric compression adjuster.

If the conditions change predominately, it's a simple matter of reaching under and giving it a few clicks one way or another but for the most part I'm right back in the middle.

I love this sled. :yam:

I noticed when I had my Ohlins out, that stiffening up the rebound, also stiffens up the compression to an extent. My Ohlins has issues, as even full hard in the garage, once i put the stiffer spring on, it didn't have enough rebound. I'm glad you guys posted this, because it tells me the stock valving is ok, and its just a fluke problem I had with my shock.

Right on wolfie ;)!

With the stock (soft) spring I was pretty much forced to run the rebound at max which took away low speed-small bump ride quality and really didn't cure all the bottoming anyway.

Also sorry to hear about your shock and tunnel and the undeserved bashing you had to take when you posted about it.

I hope you're back in service soon.
