so I ohmed the ohlins through the wire lead it was .4 ohms (shorted out)
I took my spare shock and new wire lead and plugged it in (4.2 ohms)
the display still wont switch to a shock(only hand grips)
so I ohmed every thing several times and checked my other sled with ohlins
also while riding 3 times the yellow light came on with code 81 (grips problem) and died 2 of the times
stopped looked at all wiring and fuzes and never did it again but the shock was not showing up on dash
any info or suggestion would be great
thanks

1st I found the ground block burnt and fixed it(cut and soldered)
ok I wish the fuze had blown
the solenoid shorted out internally(.4 ohms)
I ohmed everything from ecm to fuze to solenoid(with spare shock plugged in 4.2 ohms)
still no shock icon on dash
so I took ecm out of my other sled and it all works now
now I need a solenoid and ecm for 09 apex

How do you check the shock harness for power? Is there only power at the harness when you press the button on the handlebars?
