Oil blowing in airbox Help

I changed the oil in my 06 vector and started it up for the first time this year. oil blows into air box. I removed the air box and it continues to blow oil. The vacuum line to the crank case is not plugged. Please help.

Has this just occured since your last oil change or has this been like this for a while?

Some oil is normal in air box...how much oil are you talking about in how many miles? those it blow to the point of lowering on dipstick reading...if so how much are you adding?

Post a few pics of your airbox showing the amount...

This just ocured as I fired it up for the first time last night. The oil tank is pressurizing and blowing the oil into the air box and on to the floor. How much you say, a quart is on the floor right now. I removed the air box and the oil blows out the tube that goes to the air box. My vacuume is very low and bogs when given gas, This was running fine when it was shut down at the end of the season last year. Alot of mouse activity was evident under the hood. could a blockage in the exhaust cause this.

I do not think exhaust blockage should do this. But, why do you suspect that? Is the exhaust blocked? Do not run it when it is blocked. If you do, you could blow the head gasket. I am not so sure that a blown head gasket would overfill the oil with coolant causing oil to blow into the airbox.

Did you over fill the oil tank? Too much oil in the machine will do this.

If you changed the oil, did you put the oil in the engine or the tank? Do not fill the engine. It takes a long time for the oil to drain down to the tank. Starting it too soon, in this condition, could cause oil to blow out into the airbox.

If the oil level is O.K. Then, ... I would be doing a compression check.
