Oil Change on my Warrior

snowdog, I am in Eastern Iowa. I started wrenching on mine in July. Still not complete. :o|

O, by the way. As the rest of them said. You need to do a complete change of oil and filter every time.

My sled had water in the motor and dry sump???? Bought it that way and she blew within 300 miles.
Thats a drag! Didn't you see the water in the oil when you bought it?

By the way...that drain plug has to be a metric Allen right? I have not changed mine yet this season. Working on the SRX first...but I don't remember my oil change being all that bad once I had done it once. I think my plug was fine. Hmmmm..I'll have to peek when I change the oil.

Damn, I am glad I am not the only one that noticed the sloppy fit, I tried to unscrew the bolt when it was cold and when it was hot, neither worked, and I am really afraid of stripping it. I would get a socket allen wrench but I have no idea what size it is. The funny thing is that I actually started to round my allen wrench trying to get this bolt out.

Some of the cheaper Allen Wrenches will deform. Mine started doing that. That's what made me go to an Allen socket. I assumed it was metric. I got a new drain plug and took it down to the Auto Parts store and got a socket with the best fit.
