Oil consumption /EVAC /ECP Questions

My RX1ER 03 uses 1qt of oil between oil changes @ 2000 mi. I have also noticed a black residue on the red part of the seat especially next to the gas tank. I'm guessing this is coming from the crankcase. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm going to try Seafoam as soon as I can locate some. Is there an EVAC system for the stock airbox? How noisy is the ECP system?

I got a black stain on my red part of the seat as well. I thought it was from my black snowpants rubbing. Could it be a slight oil mist staining the seat? It cleans off with a little hard rubbing.

IMO the ecp kit isn't really louder, it just promotes a litle more anger out of the motor

Burning 1qt of oil in 2k miles is normal, you do not have an oil consumption problem.

the stock airbox already evacuates the crankcase
1qt in 2000 miles isnt worth worrying about
and the blk stuff is more than likely from under the seat-the aluminum on the tunnel discolors and snow melting makes it run all down the sides of the tunnel-also the left side has clutch dust mixed in with it and the rt side has brake pad dust
just ask cubby how to keep things clean!
