Check and make sure you didn't blow out a half moon on your valve cover gasket. The oem breather on the valve cover sucks!
I think from what your saying you pushed your gasket out. I know this past experience. If this is the case pm me and I'll walk you through a fix.

Yes it is. Your going to have to pull your gas tank, it most likely is the back right side.
It should take a couple of hours to do, your breather needs to be changed to, that is easy too.

It turns out that my problem was oil type, switched from m1 0w40 to yamalube 0w30 and after 300 hard miles from tug hill to old forge not a single drop gone. And the sled seems to run better with it.

That is awesome information.
How are the trails on the hill? Heading back to OF Sunday for a few more miles, gonna try to finish the year out with my M1 insead of spending all that $$$ to change it now.

Red field was horrible (think i cracked my header again) but from there on all the way to tupper lake was really good I'd say, but that was on Thursday so things might've changed. Good luck on ur trip

Well add a weeping oil tank to the list, noticed it's all wet along the bottom seam. Gosh darn it!
Surely the Mobil 1 weeps easier too... Hope it lasts thru this last ride
