Black smoke is to much fuel.

Usually if you have an oil leak in the turbo it's smoking white smoke, black smoke is when the oil is burnt before entering the exhaust system.

yes too much fuel may also smoke black, as well as burnt oil or the combination of those.
Hmm ok so what happens is that the heat and the pressure of the exhaust makes the oil evaporate (probably wrong word) and makes it smoke white?
Wount it leak on the compressor side also??

Yes white is oil evaporating
If you have oil in the IC the turbo is leaking on the compressor side.

the oil flows thru the center of the turbo.
There is a seal on both side of the center part, depending on what seal is shot it may leak on one or both sides.

Today when we were out riding I cam down a steep hill and decided to do a boondocking-manouver as I was going down.. well the sled suddenly pointed the wrong way with the nose pointing up the hill and it also tipped on its side=P all normal but when I started it I noticed that the smoke was a little bluish for a few seconds and then it went away and never came back.
Normally I wouldnt care but since we have been discussing it here I started thinking why the hell it should smoke when started it. If it was a stock sled I could understand it cause oil could make its way into the throttle bodies from the airfilterbox. But this is impossible when you run the MCX plenum.
The sled ran flawless the rest of the day and I never noticed any more blue smoke.
Oil shouldnt seep past the rings but is it possible that just a tad oil passed the rings and therefor it smoked just a little when I started it?
Well I guess like many of my other posts this was a stupid one, I guess I am just being paranoid

White smoke is coolant usually and because the MCX system doesn't liquid cool the turbo with coolant like some other systems I doubt the white smoke is related to the turbo you may have another issue. How does your oil look, let it sit then drain a small amount of oil out of the tank and/or block and take a look at it in a clear jar. If you have moisture in there it'll come out first and be white.

thanks for all the input and help, if nothing else i learned alot about my sled and how turbos work on these sleds.

On mine sled when I forgot to connect my oil pump oil got into the muffler and it took quite awhile for the oil to burn off. Maybe ur pump is shot? I guess when pump is not working the oil somehow gets past the seals in the charge tube and muffler? At least it was the case on mine, not sure how mcx is I would think its the same besides pump been a mechenical right? Anyway good luck with urs

ya i dont know. i think im a little out of my league. i know the mcx pump is working. i took off the return line off the turbo and it sucked oil out of a bottle extremely fast. when i took it off tonight there wasnt much oil if any in the little resovoir on the bottom of the turbo. would this be another case for it being turbo seals?
