I want to make my own drain plug hose for ease of changing oil.

$90 for a hose like this is ridiculous in my eyes.

Honestly, all you need is the size coming out of motor. Rest looks like #6

Still.....been a long time since I played with it. Probably $40+/- to replicate
 
Wow.....Must be more manufacturers than b4 making for a more price competitive situation.

#4 is very small diameter line. No biggie.

I found a topic like yours. Google "viper oil drain" comes back to TY forum topic couple years old.

Definitely worth doing.

Use electric tape or like on hose ends. That and a shot of lube to put ends on. Will go alot smoother than nothing at all.
