Hey gents! I bought a 05 RX1 late in the season I'm changing the oil in it and I want to change the filter. The sled only has 1200 miles on it where's the filter ? I have the owners manual, supplementary service manual and a 2005 Technical update.
Thanks Terry

Remove airbox, battery and battery tray and you will find it.

Stuff a bunch of rags under it before you pull it off is my tip, no matter how careful or fast I unscrew it I spill oil everywhere.

drain the tank first, you have a hell of a lot less oil coming from the filter

and drain the engine as well.

I always drain both first, I just don't like spilling any oil. I try to keep the engine area pretty clean.
