thats weird, i seen sleds overfilled and never seen the plug foul thing. i have seen some oil in airbox but to say that overheated it because the oil. i have my doubts.

tstewartfan20: i'm glad you chimed in to help him stand his ground with that dealer. That new Cat F6 was cart-wheeled 10 minutes after we left you. I fixed it on trail & drove it home for the rookie driver. He fell in love with my Apex & actually loved how HEAVY & sturdy it was. Imagine that!!!

I have almost all Polaris owners in our riding group,all that have riddin the Apex have come to be imppressed, yet with all the let downs they continue to purchase and ride the shitboxes. Well I have to rebutt my post. Even my dealer said on the trail he would have thought the same thing. That the oil was overfilled but it wasn't. Just before my temp light came on I was doing 120+ on the dreamometer and I must have hit something cause my front heat exchanger was ripped open and my coolant was gone in seconds probably and cooked the motor. One cylinder has 65. 80,95 and 120 respectively. So most likely the whole lower end is toast. Big money I'm told and thats if the head is ok plus the job to do the front exchanger. So now I'm in the market for a new sled I'm thinking 2009 Apex LTX I can get a real good deal from my dealer and I owe him for being a #*$&@ so Either that or apex GT Any ideas Which is best??
